It's a somewhat common occurrence in the early model years of the C-Max. There are plenty of threads in this sub and on the internet about it. And the 2013 can have some electrical gremlins that can mostly be fixed/managed. But the high voltage battery is one thing you really don't need to worry about. Ford designed it to last a long time.
