The Civic Hatchback Sport Touring is, in layman’s terms, a Civic Si stripped of a bit of its sporting capability and a lot of its sporting pretensions. Civics have great engines, but be careful with there automatic transmisiones. Honda automatics aren't that good. If you buy the manual, those are bullet proof cars. But in my opinion, you should buy a ninth or tenth gen Corolla. Those are bullet proof cars, automatic or manual. Just buy the ones with the 1.8L engines.
